Mark J. Nesselroad is an experienced real estate broker, executive, entrepreneur, and attorney with personal and professional roots in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. and Southwest Florida. As Broker and Co-Owner of Black Diamond Realty, and COO and CLO of Glenmark Holding LLC, Mark provides strategic leadership in advancing real estate development and economic growth across multiple industries and markets. His dual background in law and business enables him to manage complex property transactions, while fostering community prosperity and long-term value.

Professional Experience
As Broker and Co-Owner, Mark leads Black Diamond Realty’s operations and brokerage teams. Since its founding in 2013, the firm has become a leading commercial real estate brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic region. From 2022 to 2024, it closed over 300 transactions totaling nearly $170 million in deal value.

Mark’s experience includes structuring, planning, financing, developing, leasing, acquiring, operating, and selling a wide variety of real estate and business deals. Mark’s knowledge encompasses a multitude of property sectors (office, retail/restaurant, shopping & power centers, business & industrial parks, warehouse, flex, mixed-use, residential, student housing, healthcare/medical, hospitality/hotel, land, investment, public private partnerships (P3), etc.). He is well-versed in sophisticated projects, financing structures, complex business formations/dispositions, entitlement and zoning matters, franchise agreements, & private placement securities offerings.

Nesselroad has directly accomplished:

• $260+ million in real estate financing;
• $165+ million in asset acquisitions & sales; &
• Hundreds of lease transactions.

Before founding Black Diamond Realty, Mark practiced law as an Associate in the business department of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, focusing on commercial transactions, real estate law, and corporate structuring.

Mark’s wealth of professional business experience and real estate knowledge across multiple states, counties, communities, and sectors, provides Black Diamond Realty and its clients the strategic advantage to achieve real estate goals and success.
