Katie Gyorko brings a strong background in sales, relationship management, entrepreneurship, and client service to the Black Diamond Realty team. With more than 15 years of experience working closely with clients across multiple industries, she has developed a reputation for professionalism, trust, and helping people navigate important decisions with confidence.

Her transition into commercial real estate was driven by a long-standing interest in the industry, a passion for supporting local businesses, and a desire to contribute to the continued growth of communities throughout West Virginia. Her experience owning and managing investment properties further strengthened her interest in real estate and reinforced her commitment to helping others identify opportunities and achieve their investment and business goals.

Before entering commercial real estate, Katie founded and operated her own wedding planning business, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, business development, and managing complex details to deliver successful outcomes. That experience continues to shape her organized and solution-oriented approach to serving clients.

Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was recognized as a Presidential Scholar and Dean’s List student. Her background in sales and leadership provides a strong foundation in organization, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving.

Katie remains actively involved in the local community through volunteer and leadership initiatives, including previously serving as Head Cheerleading Coach at St. Francis Catholic School and supporting fundraising efforts with the Mon Health Medical Center Auxiliary, including as chairman for the 2023 Ball of the Year. She is also LIMRA sales trained, further strengthening her leadership and community engagement experience.

Known for her approachable personality, responsiveness, and strong work ethic, Katie is committed to providing a positive and professional experience for every client she works with. She looks forward to assisting clients with commercial sales, leasing, and investment opportunities throughout West Virginia.

Outside of real estate, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, a Morgantown native, and their two children, who keep life busy and fun outside of work. Her strong ties to the area and enthusiasm for helping businesses and communities thrive continue to fuel her excitement for this next chapter with Black Diamond Realty.
