The Holidays are here! This joyous time brings busy schedules, frantic shopping, but most importantly, it brings the blessing of sharing time with family and friends. As we look back at 2019, we remember all that we have been blessed with this past year.
At Black Diamond Realty, we are grateful for the small things, the big things and everything in between. We are grateful for our hardworking team, amazing and loyal clients, and opportunities to give back to the community that continues to give to us. Individually, each team member has reflected on this past year’s exciting events.
This past year, Mark J. Nesselroad celebrated 10 years of marriage with his wife, Lauren. He also shared in the celebration of welcoming a new niece born to his sister and nephew born to his sister-in-law. In addition, Mark assisted in the opening of WVU Medicine’s Center for Hope and Healing via development by Glenmark Holding and held the position of Immediate Past Chair of the Morgantown Board of Directors.
David and his family traveled to Bethany Beach, DE this past summer for a relaxing few days in the sun. David has two girls, Giana and Bria, who are both attending Suncrest Elementary School. The entire family recently joined others in the community to run in the LJ Haines 5K race together. It was the girls first ever race and they were the youngest participants (ages 6 and 4). In early fall, David and his father-in-law, Jim Morris, enjoyed a five day, 51.5 mile hike along the Appalachian Trail in southeast Pennsylvania. It was a challenging adventure with many lifelong memories created.
Murphy Holloway earned his CCIM designation after years of study. This rigorous real estate finance education opens new doors for networking with industry professionals. Obtaining this designation gave Murphy the opportunity to visit other markets and learn about real estate trends from all over the country.
Janelle Zeoli and her husband are preparing to welcome their first child into the world by the end of the 2019. As they anxiously await their baby girl’s arrival, they are also celebrating one year of being in their new home and have found joy in reflecting on all of the exciting home projects they accomplished during the year.
Jeff Stenger enjoyed family time in Hilton Head, SC this past summer with his parents, sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. He also welcomed a furry new addition into his home, Pebbles! This lovable, sweet and playful friend brings Jeff joy every day. Jeff and David also enjoyed celebrating Mother’s Day with their moms in Pittsburgh for a special night on the town. They went to Ruth Chris Steakhouse for dinner followed by Mean Girls the musical at The Benedum Center. It was a special evening to honor their loving mothers!
Chris Waters and his wife shared the news of their first baby who is expected to arrive in March of 2020. They are overjoyed and can’t wait to embark on this new adventure with their baby boy. In addition, Chris took an online training course and passed the FAA exam in Bridgeport, WV to obtain his FAA license. He is now certified to fly the BDR drone.
Andrea Cooper hit the ground running when she joined the Black Diamond team in July. She continues to maintain her personal photography business on the side and gives thanks for a successful photography workshop which she attended in Pittsburgh, PA. Looking ahead, Andrea plans to have two photography events in the DC area and South Carolina in 2020.
Jeff Wise was blessed with his fourth granddaughter April. This is Jeff’s eighth grandchild which evened out the team of four granddaughters and four grandsons. Him and his wife (Nonny and Pappy) feel so blessed.
